Traveling through Australia
Traveling through Australia could be one of the most rewarding or frustrating experiences someone could come across. Rewarding for the obvious unique and incredible offerings of this amazing country but I for one think it would be frustrating trying to plan out how to see everything or where to even begin for that matter. Personally, I don’t think there is anywhere on the planet that has such an incredible range of wildlife, terrain, culture and attractions as the Land Down Under.
Australia is a natural playground
With over 50000 kilometers of coastline, Australia is a natural playground for all things water. Their beautiful beaches provide some of the best surfing, sailing, and fishing in the world and the Great Barrier Reef is world-famous for Scuba and Snorkeling. As the world’s largest Coral reef, it is unsurpassed as the premier dive location for beauty, scenery, and species.
Far away from the allure of the coast but just as fascinating is the Australian Outback. Popularized in the Crocodile Dundee films, this vast desert region in Australia’s interior has plenty of spectacular discoveries. Without a doubt the main highlight to the Outback is the Uluru or Ayers Rock. Seeing this monolith is best experienced at sunrise or sunset when the fiery sky illuminates this already red mountain. A visit to an Outback Pub to experience the colorful locals could very well be the most entertaining part of your journey but one of the most memorable would be discovering the amazing aboriginal people and their culture.
Wildlife in Australia
Wildlife in Australia is a huge draw for any tourist. spectacular discoveries from snow-capped mountains to rainforests all with unique features on land and sea, the opportunity to get up close with the unique plants and animals of Australia is a treat for nature lovers and eco-tourists. Swim with whale sharks and giant manta rays or watch Crocodiles, Kangaroo and Koala Bears in their natural environment.
Many of Australia’s major cities
Many of Australia’s major cities are situated along the coast providing magnificent scenery while you discover the sights and sounds of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide just to name a few. During the day, discover museums, markets, theatres and cultural centers and enjoy the excellent cuisine and nightlife in their incredible restaurants, bars and clubs in the evening.
